CAST NEWS!

By now, you may have noticed that our recently posted “Twilight” interview
has made MTV Movies Blog history with more than 700 fan comments! After
all the news we’ve broken about superheroes, Harry Potter and Corey
Haim (OK, maybe not him), suffice it to say we were floored by all the
die-hard fans who are obviously eager to discuss the flick, which
doesn’t even begin shooting until later this month.
Now we’ve got some exclusive casting news to once again stir the
pot: Up-and-coming actors Anna Kendrick (”Rocket Science”) and Justin
Chon (”Just Jordan”) have been cast as Jessica Stanley and Eric Yorkie,

More casting announcements are expected to be made in the next few
weeks, including the key roles of Jacob Black, Sam Uley, Emily Young
and Alice Cullen.

Well, that is good that they will be letting us know jake and Alice soon! I am nervous and excited about Alice!

Yeah me too... it's weird cause i don't want to see it but i still care about the choice for Alice and Emmett .. well the Cullens :p

Alice will be hard to cast I think. She's so...well, Alice!

You guys, am I like the only person freaking out about all the cast members we're getting to know! I think it's fabulous! The guy from the O.C. who's playing James is beyod gorgeous!

But here's my question: Why choose the gorgeous guy for James and the unattractive one for Edward? Oh well...I really want to know who will be alice!

Well, that's your opinion. Personally, I think Robert Pattinson is the perfect Edward, but alas, that's only my opinion! Does anyone know when they'll announce who's playing Alice though? I'm dying to know!

I love RPattz too! I mean yeah, some of his pictures are not very becoming, but over all I think he'll do great. I hope the guy casted for James can be scary though...Now that I look at him I think I get more of a Carlisle vibe. But hey, who knows.

All they said on the stephenie meyer site was "in the next few days" and i think in the article, it said that they would be anounced in the next week? I am not positive.

You should!!! I'm going, I can tell you that right now. Robert Pattinson is one of my fav actors, and I'm dying to see if they murdered the book, so I'll be there.

I am going. i will get some friends together and go. but i think they will mess it up pretty badly.

I'm for sure going with my other obsessive friends. I don't doubt that it won't measure up to the book, but it's still fun to see anyways.

I agree totallywicked00, it'll be fun to see regardless of how bad it is! I am sort of mad about the whole running over the treetops thing though...

Yeah that's really lame... It would have been pretty tight if they showed Edward running through Bella's POV on his back. But I can see how that would have made a few people feel sick.
