| Nevermore Always searching, never finding just what I am looking for. The trees fly by at amazing speed, but the sun burns them down to the forest floor.
I see you in a dream, fearing my touch, running, shielding, not wanting me anymore, I hear your voice, so close, so far, I'm still loving you, wanting you forevermore.
Do you miss me? See me behind closed eyes? Do you still love me like I loved you and yours? Will you remember me or ignore me if you see me again? Or would you remember me always and evemore?
I run to find you, despite the time you were gone, slam into the boulder that is you, crying the name that is yours, before the sunlight made you sparkle and shimmer, but will you love me and cherish me nevermore?
A dream, fighting for thought and devotion, tugging at the edge of my head forevermore, but finally real, finally here, tell me it was a lie. I know that you will be without me nevermore.

| I posted this on the Twilight Lexicon. It's not about Twilight, at all, in any way, but I guess I can post it here anyways. It's called "Let me Help You"
Let me help you with those papers Spilled on the floor... Let me help you pick them up Sorry about running into you...
Let me help you with that hair in your eye. Bet you would never guess... Let me help you put it back in place That I knew your every though...
Let me help you with your darkest problems Tell me your deepest secrets... Let me help you solve them all As if I don't know them yet...
Let me help you with that body The !@#$%er deserved what he got... Let me help you heal the scars Damaging your world like that...
Let me help you with replacement You'll need a new bastard just like him... Let me help you destroy your world Now surrender yourself to me...
Let me help you with that gun Up against your head... Let me help you with the last breath just before the end One last shot and you'll be free of everything...
But only you would say no Only you with your audacity To disobe me Your lord, master, creator of everything You were nothing but a shadow I made you everything, anything All I ask is for you to give some of it back Couldn't you do that, just do it for me?

| Up in FlameYou are fire in my veins, the smoke in my heartbeat, making my pulse burn with a delicious heat, though you are cold and perfect as a marble sculpure, you make my heart throw out its crazy rhythmic beat. A single breath, a single word, the slightest touch, will burn us to a cinder, to the ground, to ashes, but we will rise again, like the mythologic bird, your smile burns as my mind thrashes. Ruining concentration and memory and defense, you are worse than any addictive drug, you are my brand of heroin, you see, your fire scorching me when we kiss or hug... The fire's gone out, a distant memory, like a snippet of a lullaby or a childhood smell, one that you are forgetting but can't regret, the wretched beating of my heart, no longer swelled. Waiting for your touch, full of flame and charge, to burn me, to warm me, to late and love me, waiting so patiently in pain for your return, the magic of your drug with effects I can see. Crappy, but Oh well!! | |

| here is one that I wrote a while ago, it's really bad, I know but at least I get some points for Carlisle house!! GRAVITATIONAL That first night you flew into my window Hovering on the mysteries of time In a spark of blue you put on a show You caress my skin, that’s when we sublime With intertwined fingers we move as one Two bubbles rise so sweet in sympathy Your tender taste a dazzling midnight sun Trickling into my sweet epiphany Like flame and dust with a kiss consume We are elemental my beloved. Two souls naive full of power we loom In a secret hour my love he bled So competent a stranger in daylight Twelve strokes and we vanish into the night | |

| I;m only posting this for Jasper House. I suck at poetry.
I sit here away from him. Beside the others, but not with them. I thought I knew him, But his kind are easily distracted. I know I loved him. He thinks I've forgotton him. For his mind I envy him. My memories are getting less real. But here I am, I wait for him. And in the darkness stay for him.

| In my heart of hearts I know I pine for him. He always lingers there At the back of imagination. Seemingly captured in memory He always teases me, skips away. He flits at the edges of consciousness. Then his voice which most i missed nears. I can hear it now, it comes closer to me. In reality, it's not him, but a constuct. A psudo-Edward living in this mind. My velvet delusion hurts me less Jabs at a less tender spot Than true memory. Now I know in My own way What it is To feel. | |

| Forevermore Nevermore I stare at your picture, trying to see. What was it that made you leave? Did you forget your love? Finally move on? Everyone knew that you didn't need me.
I stare at the window, rain streaking. I suppose you are a memory forevermore, Even if it is not so with you, but who knows? All we know is that our love will become nevermore.
I miss your smile and your eyes and your voice. I miss the way you joked with and about me, But you tired of life in this rainy cage, it seems, And my heart tears at the seams as you no longer see.
What made you stay this long? What happened? Did you not want to hurt me? Or was it something more? Did I actually impact your life before you left? Or was is simply pity, as you left me on the forest floor.
Your face taunts and haunts and mocks me, I dream of the warmth in your eyes, the cold in your skin, but will I ever feel them again? I wish that I was more like you. I wish I had been bold.
I am forevermore nevermore than a memory. You are forevermore nevermore than a dream. And life itself is nothing, simply a concept now.

| Ok so the idea for this poem all got started in my Creative Writing class the other week in school. We had to write a poem with a list in it, and at the time, I was re-reading Twilight. (How many lists can you find?) My teacher always says you should write about what's taking you attention, so that's what I did. And in case you're wondering, the lines "Look! I gliter!" and 'behold the manly pixie dust' are inside jokes from my school's book club. Go LWE Book Club! We had much fun with the meadow scene. Manly Pixie Dust A love story with a bite. What more can I say? Um…how about Bella and vampires? But not your no reflection no contact with sunlight immortal human blood drinking sleeping in coffins type of vampires. Nope. Bella’s story, my story, is about a different kind of vampire- the Cullens, well more so Edward Cullen, and his ability to turn my world upside down. I was new to Forks, Washington. They knew to keep away from the inhumanly beautiful Cullens. I knew I should too but I was entranced by the youngest, Edward. At first I thought he hated me. Turns out it was just my smell that bothered him in a way that was new. Eventually he said we shouldn’t be friends; he was bad for my health yet he wanted to be my friend. Way to confuse a girl who no matter what, was spellbound to this boy. There was a bonfire on the beach where someone mentioned the Cullens. An older Native American teen said, “The Cullens don’t come here.” An old friend from the reservation tells me the story of his people. How they came from wolves and have a treaty with the cold ones. “Cold ones?” I ask. Vampires. The Cullens relate how? They are, the cold ones. Wow. I do research. Not much matches my own observations: speed, strength, beauty pale skin, eyes that shift color or my friend’s: blood drinkers, enemies of the werewolf cold – skinned, immortal. One day I found myself driving home from Port Angeles with the cold one who wouldn’t leave my thoughts. I told him how I thought he might be a vampire how the idea got started and that eventually I came to the conclusion that it didn’t matter what he was. Edward was shocked to the point of anger. “You don’t care if I’m a monster? If I’m not human?” No. I. Did. Not. Edward was a vampire. There was a part of him that thirsted for my blood. I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him. I learned so much about vampires including my previous observations being true. They can have special abilities Edward can read minds – except mine. They have a reflection. They are immortal and cold – skinned. They don’t need to sleep or even breathe! Vampires can be vegetarians through animal blood and oddest of all they sparkle in sunlight! Oh the day he showed me that meadow! He must have thought, in his nonchalant way, “Look! I glitter!” Now when I see my Edward sparkle behold the manly pixie dust!

| This is another poem I had to write for Creative Writing. It is a letter poem from Edward to Bella that she will never see. I call it my angsty poem of angst ( ) because I can only imagine how angsty Edward was while he was away from Bella in New Moon. I swear, when I wrote the I... I... You... We... and the next stanza I got all teary eyed. I can feel how much Edward is hurting in this poem. Dearest Bella How do I put into words what I’ve done to you? I saw the look in your eyes and it tore me to pieces. Are we fated to be Romeo and Juliet? No. A clean break. It will be as if I never existed. I… I… You… We… How could I do such a thing to such a sweet, innocent girl? How could I say I don’t love you, when in my heart I know it’s not true? It’s for the best. You won’t lose your soul. You can lead a human life now. You will not be put in anymore danger because of me. A clean break. Yes. As if I never existed. I sounded so much more convincing in the forest. I can not do it! It’s driving my insane! Your blood it sings to me. I remember its sweet smell! But I will not let you lose your soul! I will not curse you to this life of mine! I will not let you become the monster I am! But I can not stay away from you. Oh, but I must! A human lifespan is nothing compared to mine. It is but a bleep on the radar screen that is my subsistence. I will try my best to stay away from you. I do it for you my love. If I had a soul would you be my soul mate? Why do I write this? It only hurts to do so. You will never see this letter. | |

| Character poem about Carlisle! I was going to write a poem about the lovely Edward, but I found it too hard , therefore the poem came to be about Carlisle . The title comes from the song "Bad Case of Loving You" by Robert Palmer. I see in many Carlisle banners the lines "Doctor Doctor give me the news/I've got a bad case of lovin' you," so that was my inperation for the title. All the different parts of his life are goiong to be separate poems. (I'm in Jasper House!) Bad Case of Loving You Pt. 1 Carlisle Cullen a great vampire man born in the 1640s in London a minister for a dad a fear of vampires he had dad dieing a raid Carlisle lead to kill the vicious vampires of the London sewers vampires had him outnumbered they attacked! he blocked! it wasn't long until he was gone no longer human but one of the monsters he feared! Carlisle was repulsed by what he saw tried to kill himself did not work thirsty for blood a deer came near he drank thus the first vegetarian vampire was born! | |

| Ok then. I'll just post another poem here. For Carlisle House.
Time goes by so blindingly quick I was just cuddled up next to you a minute ago And now you are so far away
It makes me sick Just thinking about how you left There will never be another happy day
Though I suppose I should have figured You would never stay You were always too good for me A dream in a heart so torn
They say it is better to have loved than to have never loved at all And now I see they were right I couldn't bare the pain to think of if I had never met you In that sense I am happy to let these god-awful tears fall ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yeah, It kinda sucks I know... It is based on Bella in New Moon

| Anna Cullen still hasn't givin me a house yet ... ... anyway ... here are three fairly long poems : Becoming a Vampire From whispered pleas To silent cries To wracking screams And hollow eyes From pain that burns Like fire’s lash Turning me To screaming ash But all the time The hollow eyes Grief stricken Crimson eyes And so I scream Into the night The task complete Next morning light And though I know The time is near I scream for death To all who hear So here it goes My dieing wish As my heart rate slows I sink to bliss - Becoming a Vampire - ----------------------------------- (( i know Bella wasn't activly suisidal, but this is more of what I'd be thinking, it's basicly her/my argument that she/me should be allowed to die .... eventhough she/me knows they won't get to becuse of Charlie and Edward and Jake ... etc ... NOTE: I AM NOT REALY SUISIDAL !!! )) Fade to BlackTime goes on Or at least that’s what they say Movin’ on Never even crossed my mind My life is like a star filled sky Dimmed and faded by the city lights The sun sets Dawning on someone else’s day And why can’t I? Fade to black? Leave the stage? Throwaway this half-filled page? Half-written verse An almost love song Turned zombie theme song That will never fade with time A horror movie A crappy ending Riddled though with Forgotten lines A plot pretending To be a romance A sappy slow dance Turned metronome And now I’m standin’ on my own So why cant I? Fade to black? Leave the stage? Throwaway a half-written page? Full of faded hearts Stained by years Crossed out realized fears Hopes and dreams Whited out by tears Folded up and kept close To what’s left of my heart So why do you deny me? Don’t criticize me There’s nothing left here anyway Just let the credit’s play An empty shell Torn to pieces From the inside Forever scarred Can you find my broken heart? It’s a struggle just to breath Don’t you know? Can’t you see? I’m meant to die Just let it be What rite have you to deny me peace? The sun sets Dawning on someone else’s day So, why can’t I? Fade to black? Leave the stage? Throwaway this half-empty page? Lost Deep inside a quickly cracking mind Broken Like the rest of me Can’t you see? Won’t you let me be? So why can’t I? fade to black --------------------------------------- (( this one is only SORT OF Twilight related )) NumbBlue skies dim to gray The sun is setting On the last day This is the night of our lives Broken sonnets falling on deaf ears Tonight we sing out loud Announcing all our fears Tonight we dry the tears Tomorrow A respite from the pain Numb With no intention of ever feeling again Sometimes it’s just to much to take Can’t stay awake So we’ll stay Numb A new life’s begun If you can call it that Just wanna run But we must stay Cannot stand the light of day Reminds me to much of the good times So I’ll say good bye And stay Numb | |

Title: x0x--I Have to Choose--x0x A hard choice, Friend or Love? Pick the branch of an olive tree, or fly on the wings of the dove? To see the friend happy, or lose my only world? Wavering from one to the other Peircing my brain with hurt, with my heart - the sword Can't I have it both ways? They won't let me, so here on my bed I lay Struggling, confused Either way I lose something But I won't know until I choose, by my own hand or the most pleasant way, Which one will stop me from living

Pick the branch of an olive tree, or fly on the wings of the dove?
To see the friend happy, or lose my only world?
Wavering from one to the other Peircing my brain with hurt, with my heart - the sword
Can't I have it both ways? They won't let me, so here on my bed I lay

| Ok, so the first and third are actually songs, not poems. But oh well, close enough.
An Clever Pun
i before e, except after c why before e, except after c? So weird to have a word with e before i without a c
I before he except after you see Through his eyes With his I's
See it their way And your sympathy Will go on forever Like the rhythm up and down
Sea of sorrow in their eyes- in their mind with their I's he before i? What a joke but now I see
I before he except after you see Through his eyes With his I's All empathy
As of now, it has no title. It probably never will.
Under Stone Breaking Bones Trapped within The Undertone
Feeling Pain None to Gain Sitting on The Windowpane
Looking out Try to shout Words caught in The Driest Mouth
Now they see Come for me Right Across The Sparkling Sea
Soon I'm home World has grown Speaking on The Telephone
The Inkpulse What Drives Us?
[Spoken:] Do you know what the Inkpulse is? No, teacher, we do not. Then let us embark in this lesson A bit of history, english And a touch of mythology
[Sung:] In uneducation people dwelt Few could read or write Those with the gift were shunned Or possibly hanged
There were some that renounced Like a heretic before a stake
[Spoken:] One particular loved his gift Would not renounce, could not be silenced It is often believed he sacrificed himself For the betterment of others.
[Sung:] That is not the case! Imprisoned was I, in my tower House arrest, put not to death Friends in high kept me alive
In my tower I did not but write And soon most of me had washed away!
There's nothing left of me But the IMPULSE! Read and write, prose or poetry But the IMPULSE!
[Spoken:] In reality, he was driven mad Those who kept away from the literary arts Had done so out of wisdom. But there was a magic to this one. This one who could read and write... He had less corpearality than most humans And so as he lost his mind He lost it literally
[Sung:] Is this really all that's me? An idea and a half Shattered like a mirror or glass? Snapped in half Like a twig? Sap flowing out Flowing out... OH, GOD I'M LOST!
There's nothing left of me But the IMPULSE! Read and write, prose or poetry But the IMPULSE!
It drives me on Cannot be stopped Is this why they left me here to ROT? No more walls, only bars Is this my body? Or is it a corpse?
[Spoken:] So he flowed out of his body Not a spirit or soul Simply a mind-a consiousness An urge to embrace literature And he flows through everybody, And everything. If it were not for his sacrifice We would still be in uneducation So we revere him, or it, since it is more an idea... And we call this the Inkpulse
[Sung:] There's nothing left of me But the IMPULSE! Read and write, prose or poetry But the IMPULSE!
I AM THE INKPULSE!
For those of you that like to know what the poem/song you're reading is about, here are the explanations. Otherwise, just skip the following part.
An Clever Pun: Song. It is about putting your own needs and wants before others regardless of their situation. And then later into the song, finding out what it is like to be in a bad position. And then having empathy for those in a bad position, and putting others before yourself.
The Untitled One: Poem. This one actually started out as an excercise, but I tweaked it a bit. It's about a man stuck on an island, basically. But that's just a metaphor for drug abuse. At the end, the man stuck on the island is rescued, thus the drug-abuser rehabilitated.
The Inkpulse: Song. Entirely fictional song about a force that drives all forms of literature, and those that create literary works. The spoken part is from the POV of a teature giving a lecture to his class. The part that is sung is from the POV of the person that became the Inkpulse.
EDIT: Here is another one.
The sun's rays of gold Filters through the trees How their grand branches fold And ruffle in the breeze
Paradise, utopia Ah, to call this place a home To draw your insignia On even just the loam
It would be enough at first Just a little taste But we all had this thirst And a hunger to lay waste
For the less that you have The more that I get to keep So I'll cut you into halves With no disturbance in my sleep
A madened free for all A mindless self destruction So we all take the fall To undo all our constructions
The fire's tounges of gold Burns through the trees How their great figures fold And scatter in the breeze
