Hope - A poem for my sister, Katie.

Anyways. This is an awesome poem I love it sooo much, I've memorized it. I've even published it in a book - a contest for poetry.com. ^^ I wrote it for my sister, Katie, when she was convinced she has no future. But truely, it's written for ANYONE who needs it. Feel free to share it with your friends who may need it. ^^

So here it is:

°HOPE°

It flickers,
As a soft breeze flows
Through the quiet darkness.

A tiny flame grows
And then shrinks,
As it stands alone.

In the ink,
A little light,
Giving warmth in cold.

A sudden gust - it fights,
But all hope is lost.
It's gone.

As long as there's a light,
Burning bright
There's hope.

Don't blow it out.
BELIEVE in yourself.
For I believe in you.

--dances around singing a hate song for Windows Live Messenger because it keeps freezing!-- Hehe! I actually wrote a hate song for Windows Live Messenger! xD It goes like this:

I'm the MSN fairy!
Windows Live's a turd!
I hate Windows Live so very
Much that it should BURN!


I wrote that when I was REALLLY mad at Windows Live. And I still am really mad at Windows Live. But I'm too lazy to switch back to MSN 7.5. ^^;

For Christmas this year, I'm going to paint her a picture illustrating the poem. And I'm gunna write down the poem on it and frame it. And send it to her. ^^

Uhm .. thank you. ^^

I dunno. Things just seem to come naturally to me. A lot of things - things that AREN'T active. Acting, writing, drawing, painting - I suck at human-shaped peoples. Uhm . . . playing instruments - except guitar. I'm not good at that.

But yeah. I just can't do anything real active - so not a lot of people really appreciate or notice my talents. ^^
