But I must admit... your cool new Edward choice is also way up there.

I am a Henry fan for Edward, and he's exactly who I pictured for Edward (exluding the sparkling skin..) I wouldn't mind Hayden for Edward for his looks, but he his just a terrible actor. TERRIBLE. I mean, when I was little and saw Star Wars, my dad was always saying how Hayden is the worst actor he'd ever seen...I didn't agree with him then, but boy do I now! And the chemistry between him and Natalie Portman...*gags*

Henry Cavill can act, though.

YES that is my thoughts exactly. I make my banners with the people that Stephenie likes, but I think that Charlie would be much better for the part.

The problem is, both Charlie Hunnam and Henry are TOO OLD!! Yeah he is over one hundred, but he still looks 17! They don't!

I think Henry would be a nice pick for Edward but do You really think they would cast him as that? I always wondered if some casting directors search the web for fan base of the books and see who the fans want.

ya, he also played in 'Red Eye' as the guy who tried to kill that girl, and got a pen stuck in his throat on the airplane.

ok so i googled that tom guy....EEWWW!!! OMG he is so opposite of what i picture Edward to be....I think that Henry would be about as close to Edward as you could get Oh and speaking of james...I know the book describes him...but I've always pictured him as a huge built black guy. how funny is that??? To me he looks like that big black guy that plays a bad vampire in that "A Little Less Sixteen Candles, A Little More Touch Me" Fall Out Boy video. lol weird huh?

I couldn't submit a vote, I don't agree with either of those statments.

I believe that Henry Cavill, though not as good as my image of Edward, is as good as it gets, unless you want a horrid actor.

I should also point out that as Edward is a vampire, no human in the world will be able to truly equal him(for me, anyway).

Well, I see Gaspard more as Edward. I think that Henry looks too.... Not Edward to be edward. I think that he is too old. I know that Gaspard is 22, but Gaspard looks young enough to pull of Edward. Henry does not.
