Henry Cavill

Okay, I was just wondering, how many of you actually picture Edward looking remotely like Henry Cavill? I asked my friend the other day and she said something along the lines of "Dude. Are you kidding me? That is NOT Edward." I kind of agree with her... So I'm just wondering your opinions on how he would play Edward.

I'm a Henry-as-Edward supporter, all the way.
I'm part of another forum and when this issue was brought up, nobody really supported him either. But whenever something like that happens, I visit the Myspace "Henry Cavill IS Edward Cullen" group, lol. They're pretty funny in there.

But yeah, after watching The Count of Monte Cristo, I Capture the Castle (ESPECIALLY this movie), and a couple scenes from his other movies, I've become such a fangirl. Whether it's supporting him as Edward or as a general actor :3

Who do you like?

In some pictures he looks like he could play the part. In others, he doesn't.

I'm not really excited for the movie. Unless it isn't actors (like the real Bella playing Bella) playing the parts, then I don't really care. =P

I wish they would just make it an animated movie. Can't go wrong with anime guys . But that's never going to happen in a bazillion years. At least, not in Hollywood. If I had to chose a living actor to play Edward, I guess it would be Hugh Dancy or Charlie Hunnam. Yes, I know Charlie Hunnam is who everyone thinks should play Carlisle, I think he'd make a better Edward, though.

I really like him.
The only problem I have is his hair. It's too dark!!! Gah. When I think of Edward I think of a hot guy with blondish-reddish hair. If he dyed his hair that color he would be perfect!

I wonder how many people actually pictured Henry Cavill as Edward before they saw it on Stepenie's site.

Personally, my Edward is based on the kid from Free Willy (the later movies) ^^'

That made me laugh! But I know where you're coming from! It's the hair....I think. I am a total Henry for Edward supporter, and take part in the Henry board on the lexicon!

But people lways say to me: "You just want Henry for Edward and Emily for Bella because Stephenie likes them!!!"

Well yeah. It would kinda make sense that the person who had the dream of Edward and Bella, to know what they would look like....It's not that crazy if you think about it. I mean, she not only created the characters (Who apparantly have conversations in her head...), but Stephenie had a DREAM of Edward and Bella in the meadow! She actually saw them!!! It would make sense to go with her opinion.

I'm more of a Tom Sturridge person.
I saw the Henry Cavill pic and yes, it did look a bit like I had pictured Edward...but when I saw Tom, I was like ...THAT IS SO EDWARD!

Well Henry was not really who I pictured as Edward.
But I don't really see anyone else who would play him better.

For now I think Henry is a good pick. It's kind of that "he's the first picture I saw that was associated with Edward so now its him" kind of a deal. I haven't seen anyone yet that has really struck me as an "omg that's f-in Edward Cullen" . . . but when I find him I will bring him here =-] ---- and I'd hope you'll do the same

I had a crazy moment last night when me and my sister were making fun of the disco on Saturday Night Fever where I was like "OMFG!!! John Travolta is EDWARD CULLEN!!!! And I went to bed all excited that I had found the perfect Edward (even if he's old and ugly now), but then I woke up this morning and I saw the beginning of the movie again and I couldn't see the Edward in him anymore and I thought I was crazy

I like Haydens hair and eyes...but Henry's face structure. Henry also has the build that you would picture with the description in the book.

He is so damn hot! And he's a close Edward. Of course, we all know that there will NEVER be a perfect Edward because Edward himself is too perfect to be compared to a human being. So all we can do is stare at pictures of Henry Cavill and sigh longingly.

I just saw him again in another "special feature" type thing of The Tudors.
I had no idea what is character was like until he explained it!
I think he said something like, "He's really the type of guy who can't keep his dick in his pants."

The last airhead manwhore who he portrayed amazingly sexily (is that a word?) was Mike from Hellraiser. If you guys havent seen the clips on YouTube, be prepared.
