actually my english teacher today was just talking about first impressions.
apperently 55% of people make a judgement about someone (subconsiously or not) in the first few seconds of meeting them. 37% In the first few minutes and 8% after actually talking to them for a while.

Unfortunately, that is exactly how a lot of people are, myself included. But I don't even notice I do that because I get into a conversation with people and learn about them and their personality, and it makes me realize that I had already thought of them vaguely in some way before. I don't judge really, but I do label without realizing it. And I hate that. But all people are people to me, that's all that matters. P.S. We do get into random conversations don't we? That's what makes this site and its members amazing!   | |
