i didnt like the Host

um.... I just kinda realized this in all so I figured I'd mention it... Kat u need 637 posts to get 5000, Mace u need 612 to get 4000, and Anna u need 734 to get 3000. (that or the site is deleting posts again....)

and I luv'd The Host especially Ian. I luv him... and as for BD I'm disappointed I mean like it seems like Steph rushed through Part 1 and then realized that so she decided to put Part 2 in Jacob POV cause he's he fave character... and so that became a filler... and then she rushed through Part 3... so personally I still like it better then New Moon but my order for fave stays as Eclipse, Twilight, Braking Dawn, then New Moon.... but there isn't much of a difference with with my favoritism between BD and New Moon.... and Part 1 of BD was (or at least I think) more like reading a badly written fan-fic then reading the actual book....

lol, yepp. I'm the top poster... umm... I guess from posting so much in the game thread, and house threads.... (since I post in every common-room...).... but I don't post as much as I did during the school year... but when school gets back I'll be posting a lot more then I am now...

I'm not sure how it is in your school but in mine, freshman need to always walk on the right side of the hallway. If not then they will get shoved-hard- to the correct side.

also... if your taking PE make sure you shower afterwards. Even if you think you don't sweat a lot, just do it anyways.

um.. watch out for sophmores. some of them pick on freshman, because they were picked on a lot during their freshman year

Um, well, with my high school it was not really that extreme XD then again, i go to an all-girls catholic high school. i would say, just relax, it is not as scary as it seems. I actually really enjoyed freshman year, though Rana is right, the freshman are pretty much universally hated, especially by the sophomores. I would say, just relax and enjoy it, but do not slack off--if you do lousy freshman year, it is just that harder to make up for it later on. I am sure you will do fine, though.

Okay. -yoga breathes- Thanks for the advice! I'm really excited and nervous and just AHHH. But I go to a private Catholic school so no one's like going to hurt me or anything, and I always have my older brother to help me xD
But I'm just afraid of getting lost and not being able to keep up with all my work and such. Plus, I dunno if I'll make a lot of new friends. I guess I'll have to be more 'open'. lol.

And Anna, i am sure that you will make friends! Just remember (as corny as this sounds) that they are coming into this thing knowing probably just about as many people as you. I am sure you will be able to make friends easily. And as for keeping up with the work, it iw really not that bad. I know that freshman year I had a fairly easy time keeping up with all the homework. As for getting lost, it can happen, but I know taht the teachers in our school were a bit more lenient the first week or so when we were late to class, because she knew that we did not know our way around as well yet. If you have a sibling there, though, that is acutally a big help, i know from experience

Yeah, same here. my older brother and sister helped me out a lot freshman year. How to stay on top of my assingments.... not getting lost, things like that.

It helps if you have a map of your school and list of all your class's room numbers and then plan what route your going to take before the first day of school arrives. And Kat's right, high school is new for the majority of the kids there too. Plus there will be a lot more kids for you to hang with versus your 8th grade year. (at least, that's how it is in my public school) You're sure to meet some new friends But yeah, tell us how it goes; we'll be rooting for ya!

and Rana is right--if you get a map and have your room numbers, and you plan out your routes, that really helps.

um..., ya my 1st day of high school was so, easy... it was funny though no one knew were they were going... since it was a new school... (the teachers didn't even know...) but I made friends with ppl in every grade, found all my classes (with-out a map). And are upper-class-men didn't bug us by pushing us around, or yelling at us... they just greeted u and were fairly nice... some ignore u..., and some would try to help... except the one group a kids at the school (the dirty kids...(they smell literally like piss...))... everyone makes fun of them... and honestly I was more cruel (/rued) to some of the older kids, then they were to me...

Lol, wow..... but yeah, for the most part, I did not use a map, since i had been to the school so many times because of my sister, but the upper classmen for the most part were pretty helpful.

yupp. it's pretty much just that one group that can act like major jerks, everyone else is alright/nice.

other then that just make sure you're always nice to your teachers (even the ones you don't know, because you may have them next year or something). I noticed that doing that helps a lot.
then its just the usual- turn in hw, take notes, etc, etc! lol
