Plus, Jacob's just an asshole to everyone. And Edward has never liked Rosalie. Both of them were just upset because Bella was suffering and wanted to blame someone, and Rose was the easiest one to blame.

Exactly, even though Rosalie was the one trying to help Bella where as Edward wanted to kill the 'thing' inside of her, just because it was killing her.

If Rosalie hadn't stood up to them, Renesmee would have never been born, and Bella would have gone and killed her self because she wanted the baby.

BUt I agree with Twirlz and Nanabear. We only get Jake and Edward's point of view of this, we DO NOT actually know what is going on inside Rose's head. And I think Nanabear is right. Never at ANY point does Rosalie say that she cares more about Reneesme than Bella. Not ONCE does she say that Bella's life does not matter to her. She could be thinking it, she could not be, but we do not know for a fact that she was, and it is not fair to go making unfair assumptions. Rose is doing Bella a favor; we have to remember that Bella ASKED Rose to do this. Sure, Reneesme is important to her, but Rose cares about Bella. We have proof of this in Eclipse, when Rose reveals that she does not want Bella to change because she has Bella's best interests at heart. People automatically characterize her as just this mean, awful person, and she is not that way at all.

Moodz, if you hate Rose, I want a concrete reason besides "Edward heard it ask S.M." If you want to bring hate into here you better back it up, or it WILL be ripped to shreds with proof that Rose doesn't deserve it.

That isn't a reason to hate her, either, in my opinion. Here's why. We don't get Rose's side of the story, so how do you know what she was thinking? You don't. She may have been thinking that, but she sure as heck never mentioned it to ANYONE that she wanted Renesmee more than Bella or that she didn't care if Bella died so she could have a baby! Bella would have died anyway, because she would have killed herself without her child, as previously mentioned. Rose was helping Bella, and she very well may have wanted to take care of the baby, but we never get to see what she was thinking. It is unfair to hate a character off the bat without looking to see who that character is, and why they are the way they are.

You say you hate Rosalie. Why? Is it because she may or may not have wanted the baby? (And FYI Moodz. Just because Jacob thinks something does NOT mean it is true, and Edward was nodding to that because he was in denial that bella loved her child more than her own life. Jacob can't read minds. How the heck does he know ANYTHING about what Rose is thinking? Mhm. That's right. He doesn't.) Rose protected Bella when no one else would have. Think about it. Bella called Rose because she KNEW Rose would know exactly how she felt. That is why she went to her. Edward was ready to have Carlisle get teh baby out of Bella ASAP without even asking Bella about it, because he assumed what she wanted. Bella would have fought, but may not have won if they wanted to get Renesmee out of Bella right then, without Rose to protect her, adn then she would have killed herself because of it! Everyone thinks that because it was hurting Bella the baby was immidietly evil and must die. Bella would rather die than have that, and no one took her choice about ehr own child intop consideration other than Rose.

Find a reason to hate Rose. Then come back here and watch me tear that one apart as well. Because I will.

That was amazing, Dizzeh. ANd i agree 100% with what you are saying. what Jake says or thinks cannot be the only reason you hate Rosalie, because no offense, but Jake does not know everything. He assumes that Rose only cares about the baby, and he assumes that Rose could care less about Bella because he does not understand ANYTHING about Rose. We only see Jake's point of view, not Rosalie's, so until we see that much, you cannot base your whole argument off of unreasonable assumptions that Jake made.

Rosalie... is difficult for me to catagorize as someone I hate or someone I love. Because at times she can really be a low, devilish mean freak. But sometimes I just want to hug her and scream "AHHH YOU ROCK ROSE!!!!" And then there are moments where I just don't know. She confuses me a little, because even though you find out where Rosealie's coming from, she still remains that elusive character that you just cant really understand. Am I missing something???? But I think I like her more then I don't.

Rosalie IS a very confusing character, because we never really get to see what is going on inside her head, so we can only guess a certain amount before we are just making blind assumptions about her. No one really knows her WHOLE character except for Stephenie. But that is one of the things that makes Rose so amazing.
