Buenos noches mi nombre es Alice Batcheldor, tango dieseis años y soy una intercambista de Australia. Ahorita ya tango 10 meses y voy a regresar en Enero, el mismo día que Douglas. No sé que voy hacer porque ahora tango miedo a regresar a Australia y mi vida normal. Me cambié mucho aquí, estoy más independiente y puedo hacer cosas que nunca pensé posible, por ejemplo platicando en español y viviendo en un otro país sin mis papas.
Voy a hablar pocito sobre mi vida en Australia. Vivo en la costa este en un pueblo chico, se llama Yamba. Hay solo seis mil personas, tenemos mucho playas y hay uno cinco minutos de mi casa. Casi todo los días vamos a la playa para nadar o surfea es muy divertido y extraño eso mucho. Antes mi ciudad era un pueblo de pescadores pero ahora está más popular que nunca y hay casas que vendan por más que 4 millón dolores. Mucho gente quieren vivir en mi ciudad pero no hay mucho espacio y por eso están destruyendo la vegetación y lugares por los animales. Tenemos problemas por eso y están intentando a guardar mucha tierra.
Mi escuela es muy diferente que aquí, tiene mil doscientos alumnos y está lejos de mi casa. La escuela en Australia empezar en Enero y termina en Noviembre, porque las vacaciones están en verano que es en la navidad. Y tango que repetir esto año otra vez cuando regreso.
Mi familia es chica y en mi casa solo tres personas están viviendo en mi casa. Tango una humana media y un hermano medio pero ellos son grandes y nunca vivieron conmigo. Toda mi otra familia como mis abuelos y mis primos viven muy lejos. Algunos viven cerca a Sydney pero esta once horas de mi casa, o viven en Estados Unidos entonces no los veo mucho. Mi papa es un plomero y le gustar esurfia TODO LOS DIAS, mi mama también. Tengo una mascota se llama Fudge el es un perro, un chihuahua y el perro de lanas. Los extraños muchísimo y no puedo esperar a ver ellos. Perdón pero no tango fotos de ellos en mi computadora.
El resoné que fui en un intercambio era por mi abuelo, el me dijo, hasta 3 años, que esto es un bueno oportunidad y tal vez no voy a encontrar otra como esto y necesito tomar el chancea. Eso puso la idea en mi cabeza y aquí estoy. La primera orientación del rotario ellos me darán miedo porque estaban platicando sobre todo los problemas que íbamos a tener y que hay muchas diferencias entre países. Pero encontré que no es la verdad, somos más iguales que pensamos especialmente Australianos y Mexicanos. Las dos culturas son abiertas, relajadas y tranquilas. Y ya sé eso ahora.
Australia es un país grande casi cinco veces más grande que México pero sólo tenemos veinte mil personas. Porque es tan grande la clima
Cuando llegué aquí mi primera impresión era que fui a un pueblo chico porque en el aeropuerto no había aviones y solo un diminuto construyendo. No podía prosear mucho esa día porque después cincuenta algo horas de viaje no podía pensar. Pero recuerdo cuando vi los solidarios por la primera vez. No tuve ni una idea que paso o que estaba haciendo aquí. No podía creer que había militaros aquí, parece a mí como una zona de guerra y fue como un sueño.

Después eso todo fue más tranquilo y comencé a sentir más cómodo en México. Fui a escuela y a mi parece un cárcel pero no era como eso. Los alumnos me daban la bienvenida aunque yo no podía comunique con ellos. Ahora tango amigos muy buenos y estoy contenta que fui a esa escuela.
Mi primera familia era perfecta y me ayudaron mucho con todo. Ellos me introdujeron a México y me dijeron sobre muchas cosas interesantes de México y Culiácan. También me llevan a conocer el ciudad, Altata y aún Mazatlan. Estaban muy Acomodando y estoy agradecido por eso porque hizo mi transición a la cultura más fácil con menos stress. Pero todavía fue muy difícil para mí porque no aprendía la idioma rápido y estaba frustrado por eso.
Mi segunda familia era muy bueno también y tenía que hablar con ellos en español porque no podían hablar Ingles. No quedé con ellos por mucho tiempo porque una muchacha de Francia vino.
Todavía estoy con mi tercera familia y me gusta viviendo allá en Las Quintas. Todos son muy simpáticos.
Ahora tango muchos amigos de intercambio y de México pero de mis amigos de aquí se fueron a otra lugares para estudiar y los extraño ellos. Y ya sé que voy a extrañar todos cuando salgo. Pero voy a escribir a todos y tal vez visitaré algunos! Y espero que puedo regresar a México y Culiacán.
Tuve un intercambio asombroso y gracias a Dr. Morales, el rotario y todos que me ayudaron en México.
