Here's my attempt at Twilight/NewMoon poetry.
~*~WARNING! FOLLOWING POEM HAS SPOILERS ABOUT NEW MOON~*~New Moon
You were my sun
You were my love
And I was your sweet,
Innocent dove
But when you left me
I forgot how to fly
After you left me
I thought I would die
My sunshine had gone
My days were now dark
It felt like a hole
Had been torn in my heart
But then I saw him
He was an old friend
He showed me the light
When my world came to an end
Then your sister came back
She thought I was dead
Then she talked about you
It was like a gun at my head
You thought I had died
Because you left me
You were commiting suicide
But how could that be?
You said you were no good for me
And I no good for you
But all along I had believed
That that was never true
I found you in Volterra
You almost stepped out in the sun
If I had not ran into you
You're life, it would be done
You thought the Volturi killed you
You thought that we were dead
"Amazing, Carlisle was right."
You spoke and kissed my head
But then you knew we were alive
And I still had my soul
I sat in your lap and looked in your eyes
My wounded heart became whole
I came back home
And Charlie was mad
What more could I expect?
I'd worried my dad
Now that you're back
My life is normal
And Carlisle had promised
To bite me after formal
But now Jacob's sad;
I can't see him again
I tried calling him
But he won't answer;some friend
He ratted me out
So I couldn't see you
Why would he do that?
After all we'd been through!
He thought that you had stopped me
From seeing him again
And ever since you came back
Me and Jacob aren't the same
I hope that I will be OK
In the book 'Eclipse'
But right now I have to deal with Charlie
Anyone have any helpful tips?
~*~End~*~
Umm..Ya. I just kind of made the end randomly so I could finish the poem. I made it during school between classes or during class if I had time. But Jasper House needs to catch up to Esme House, and I'm (somewhat) good at writing Poetry/Songs, so ya.
Note; In the second last verse, I couldn't think of anything to rhyme with again, so instead of pronounced
A-gen, it's pronouced
A-gayne so it will rhyme with same.
