The two times were like months apart.

The first time I was 15. Since I was 12 my mom made me move with her and all the time I would make friends, get attachedto them and we would move (again) and it was so hard to leave them. I had to make new friends .. I'm pretty sociable so it wasn't a problem to make new ones but it was soo hard to leave them. 4 years ago my parents (my mom and my stepdad told me that they were moving to the US. You have to understand that at this point I was terrified! I had never took a plane and it scared the hell out of me but other than that I didn't wanted to live my familly. I didn't know anything about America and I couldn't speak english so I told them that I wanted to stay in France. The only solution for me was to move with my dad and my stepmom. I had always lived with my mom and I love her to death. My dad ... well I never liked him, he scared me and I hated.. more like STRONGLY HATED my stepmom. So basically I changed school (once more), moved my people I didn't like and kinda lost my mom and brother. It was REALLY hard. i would visit my mom every 6 months which seemed to me like forever. We talk with MSN, with a microphone and all the time she would cry, beg for me to go.. and I couldn't take it. it was too hard and i thought about killing myself. I realize now that it was stupid but at the time nothing went right. I was failing at school (I always loved school). I was thinking about how .. but I'm a coward and I was scared of pain. My stepmom she is the devil. No fun was allowed at home and my dad was always working, never took care of me and never noticed that I was sooo sad he never noticed that something was wrong. That's when I started to listen to music. at the time I would listen to sum 41, sugarculd, aqme, pleymo .. and I would listen to them the loudest I could so that I would not thinnk about anything else. It kept me from thinking about going off with myself. Some lyrics helped me .. Music IS powerful.

Oh my God Alice that's an amazing story. I feel so bad for you...that must have been really hard. You have to promise. We love you more than you know. A scary amount considering I've never met you.

You know it's weird because.. well I never met you or anything but that you say that it means a lot to me. :)

I won't hurt myself. Things are still hard but now, because of what happened and stuff things doesn't affect me as much as before and Music is here. Like if I'm down I'll listen to AvA and it'll make me smile all the while I would come here and chat my my children and family Aha

Okay, so the lyrics to this one song helped me a lot in situations I'd rather not elaborate on just yet. Just read them.


The rain, it started tapping on the window near my bed. There was a loophole in
my dreaming, so I got out of it. And to my surprise my eyes were wide and
already open. Just my nightstand and my dresser where those nightmares had just
been. So I dressed myself and left them, out into the gray streets. But
everything seemed different and completely new to me. The sky, the trees,
houses, buildings, even my own body. And each person I encountered, I couldn't
wait to meet. and I came upon a doctor who appeared in quite poor health. I said "there is nothing that I can do for you that you can't do
for yourself." He said "Oh yes you can. Just hold my hand. I think that would
help." So I sat with him a while and then I asked him how he felt. He said, "I

So that is how I learned the lesson that everyone is alone. And your eyes must
do some raining if you are ever going to grow. But when crying don't help and
you can't compose yourself. It is best to compose a poem, an honest verse of longing or a simple song of hope. That is why I'm singing... Baby don't worry cause now I
got your back. And every time you feel like crying, I'm gonna try and make you laugh. And if I can't, if it just hurts too bad, then we will wait for it to pass and I will keep you company through those days so long and black. And we'll just keep working on the problem we know we'll never solve of Love's uneven remainder, our lives are fractions of a whole. But if the world could remain within a frame like a painting on a wall. Then I think we would see the beauty then. We would stand staring in awe at our still lives posed like a bowl of oranges, like a story told by the fault lines and the soil.
