I really don't think Rosalie is bad, she is really jealous of Bella. But I think she is perfect in everyway, imaginable.

^I agree and I think that she just want to protect Bella from becoming a vampire. And I have a feeling thqt Rosalie and Bella will become friends later in the story :d

but you can't say you liked her in the first book

I didn't really have an opinion of her in the first book, but as the series progressed I have started to like her more and more. As much as she seems to hate Bella she is just being protective, which shows that she too has let Bella into her family already. She was shallow, yeah, but she admits to it, and we all like attention, right? I think she wants to be taken seriously by the world so she tries to get everyone's attention, but since all they see is her beauty it is really difficult for her to make any other impression on people. She is reluctant to trust people, Bella in particular, but can she really be blamed for that? She was RAPED and technically MURDERED!

She is changing, and I think that Bella and her will become friends, and we will find out more about her in the next book. I can't stand to see all these people who hate her so much...Rosalie is not bad. Her emotions and mistakes make her human. She has faults. She admits that she can't do everything, that she needs her family and Emmett especially, and now I am rambling, so I will stop defending my house, and start posting on other topics where it is more difficult to ramble.

I don't think Rose hates Bella. She just thinks that Bella is making a mistake of her life by choosing to become a vampire! I think Rosalie is awesome. She's jsut misunderstood thats all!!

I think Rose is scared of showing her feelings to someone not in her family. Since Bella is practically living with the Cullens, she's starting to feel more of her sister and as a her sister, she doesnt want her to become a vampire. She maybe mean at first, but thats probably because she didnt know how to associate with humans at the point. She might even dispise humans because we are humans and she wants to be a human, but deep down, past all that selfishness, she does care and doesnt want to see someone who has so much going for her to give it up on a whim.
