| So, it is to the point now where many of you have finished! Congratulations!  That is a major accomplishment, and you should all be very, very proud of yourselves. Not everyone finished, and the fact that you did shows your determination and speedy writing skills. You were able to make time in your busy schedules to write a whole 50,000 words. That takes a lot of effort, and the fact that you managed that is something very special. However, even if you did not finish, you should still be very proud of yourself. You tried, which is something most people never do. Hey, you may have died around 20,000 words, or maybe your novel never quite made it off the ground, but you know what? That is okay. (: There is something admirable about the fact that you signed up at all. Remember--there is always next year! To those of you who went above and beyond, making it to 50,000 words, go ahead--post a thread announcing your victory to the world. You deserve it. | |
