Uglies

Anyone read them? They were very good! I also wanted to know what actors you see the characters as...

I love Uglies! I aslo hate what happened to Zane! Sad!

I've only read Uglies... i'm not a reading kind of person, I was forced to read it. but I liked it alot, it was my fav book untill Twilihgt.

I have Uglies and Pretties, but not Specials. What IS Extras? Im confuzed.

My friend said that Uglies was really a really good book. I re-read it again, and then borrowed Pretties...then Specials.

My friend and I are currently having a 'war' as to who is better. I'm Team Tally, and she's Team Shay. We have debates every once in a while about how evil Tally is, or how evil Shay is. It is acutally quite funny.

I love uglies and pretties but not specials. I didn't like what happened to zane and I didn't like how specials ended.

I miss Zane.

I imagined the pretties as baby faced models, like Gemma ward.

i know, Zane was one of the best chracters

did anyone go see Scott's blog thing? he posted a link to this site that had beauty pageant babies or something, apparently that's what they're supposed to look like i forget the link though....does anyone have it?

I loved the Uglies series...It's been a while since I read them, but they were good...I like the way Tally evolved from a mindless Ugly to the most influential person in the world....

Y'know, David sort of reminds me of Jacob while Zane is more of an Edward

I really liked this series - probably Westerfeld's best. Nah, I think David is more of an Edward because he's such a gentleman and Zane is more fun but still really nice just like Jacob.

Yes, but at the same time Zane is a bit more refined, whereas David has been living out in the wild for a really long time (though I see your point)

well...i really like uglies/pretties/specials/extras, but i like scott westerfeld's "midnighters" series even more
