well my paper says : Alicia had $25 when she arrived at the fair. She bought some ride tickets and she spent $6.50 on games. Write an inequality for the amount of money Alicia had when she left the fair.

hmm.. well does it say how much the ride tickets are? because if not then you would need two variables. for the time being this is probably the answer:

Let x= how much money Alicia spent at the fair
(Let y= the amount of money spent on the ride tickets)

25<x>y+6.50

I'm pretty sure that's right, but you'll have to check on the 'y'.
