Lauren

Lauren is one of the most disliked minor characters in the series. Let's face it: she's bitchy, self-centered, cold, calculating, and a bit of a bully. So why the hell is she one of my favorite characters? Well, I'll explain.

You see, the thing with Lauren is that she's pretty much the only character besides Jessica, Rosalie, and Eric who actually acts like a normal teenager. She's über-exclusive, seems to be in a constant state of PMS, and is more concerned with herself than anyone else. I don't know about you, but where I go to school, that describes about half the girls in the school. Most teenage girls are über-exclusive, self-centered, bullying, and moody. However, only she and Rosalie, the friggin' vampire, actually act like that. So, I guess I just find her realistic nature cool.

Well, that's my two cents. Feel free to disagree. XD I love evil grins.

I agree with you to a point. I love the bitchiness in characters it makes everything in the story alot more interesting. I don't know enough about Lauren for her to be one of my favourite characters. I think she, and the rest of the humans should have been in the books much more so that we can see their personnalities. Also I don't think too many teenagers are that self centered, I think they have alot to deal with and for me at least talking about themselves gets some stuff off their mind. Also they are what like sixteen, seventeen, eighteen in the books that is almos or is to the point of adulthood and that is crazy stressful.
