I'm going to take a guess and say that the end of that sentence was 'hit me', and if that's the case, I wouldn't stick around, it happened once, who's to say it won't happen again. I also don'tknow the situation, so I wouldn't be able to tell you if it was your fault or not, though I'm going to say probably not because even if you did get in a huge fight or something, he should be mature enough to know that hitting someone isn't going to do any good.

okay yes he did hit me but i think it really was my fault you see i caught him kissing another girl at school so i start to scream at him at school in front of evrybody. he gets really mad and ignores me for the rest of the day. when we get out he takes me to the river thats were we had our first time...yes he was my first...and well he tells me how dare you humiliate me in front of everybody i hate you your a b***h and he hit me.... idk maybe it was my fault idk what to do at all im scared that if i break up ith him he might kill me

you caught him kissing another girl... that would be the first clue to knowing that you should break up with him. I also suggest that if you about breaking up with him... don't do it like over a text or facebook or something like that, it shows a lot more class and courage to tell someone to their face. Explain to him why you're breaking up with him, and ask him if he prove you wrong in the information you give him, tell him you're willing to give him another chance if he has good reason. If he can't give good reason to why he was kissing some other girl, and why he hit you (as he could be charged with assult for that) then cut it. You may think it's bad now, you may think that you could never live without him, but it may only get worse and you don't want to get into that.
