Unhappiness is that my dad keeps calling me Algernon.

Unhappiness is that I dunno why he would do that unless it was somehow related to Flowers for Algernon, which makes my mother and I cry.

I read The Great Gatsby that summer, and then the summer after that I read Tale of Two Cities. I was remarkable at blocking out the things that bothered me from those books. The only thing that I remembered about Great Gatsby for the longest time was East Egg and West Egg, and eventually I remembered the ending.

I don't really remember what I read back then. I know that my first book was Go, Dog, Go but that was when I was 3. xD
