| Okay... I've analyzed the BD cover though I haven't finished BD but I have an idea on what's what.
The Queen- Bella.
Why?
The queen, obviously is white signifying Bella's change into a vampire... [white skin, red eyes etc...]. The queen being ONE of the Strongest chess pieces. Actually I consider the Queen being THE strongest, but anyway, remember how Edward says that Bella's stronger than Edward... hahaha. anyway, like I said I haven't finished BD, so I dunno still what to compare Bella to the Queen.
The red pawn- Renesmee.
Why?

| ok so i know this one i saw stephenie's concert thing and she explains this. so bella is actually the red pawn and the white queen, see the cover is how bella transforms to from being the weakest person in all the other books the one that needs to be defended and is always the weakest link the one everyone worries about the one that can't do anything but sit there while her family and friends fight for her.but in bd that changes you'll see this at the end of bd i can't really say much till you finish it i don't want to spoil the end of the book for you, but i know you'll get it and you'll see how that changes. so in bd she becomes the queen she is transformed from a weak pawn to the all powerful kick butt queen.
