I wanted to see from the peoples on here, how many like Rob P. as Edward or not =]

he is, in a way,

but we're like parents in that way. no one will ever be good enough for it to be perfect. Edward especially

thanks for all of your comments...i am keeping the poll open until december, before the movie then i want to make another one to see if anyone's opinion has changed after seeing the movie =] idk if i like Rob yet or not..i haven't decieded...oh well, i guess that'll come in due time >.<

I love him as Edward. I really don't think I'd be happy with anyone else playing him.

Thank you. I was listening to Gunning Down Romance by Savage Garden, and that line in the song completely screamed Edward to me (well, the whole song does...), so I made a banner! 'Cept where it says never, it's supposed to say rarely, but I was way tired when I made it and didn't notice until just now.

I voted yes, obviously no one can be as perfect as Edward *sigh*, so I think he is fairly good, maybe not perfect, but good, he is pretty hott, I think he could be more gorgeous, personally right now I think Taylor (Jacob) is way hotter, but then again he is more my age so I may be biased, but I think from the few movies I've seen him in he will do a pretty good acting job

RPattz is a sex bomb :) That said, he's the only thing that makes me halfway attracted to Edward.
Plus with my extreme hate for Taylor Lautner....so, movie, I'll be loving on Edward....books, I'll be loving on Jake...so yeah.

I love Rob as Edward. I keep with my thought that he isn't supposed to be all god-like to everyone, just Bella, so he won't be perfect. I've been a fan of Rob's since The Goblet of Fire though (dang I was in love with him to no end), so I could be biased and am going along with the thought that he's still really good looking and I never got over him after all this time. XD

i voted no. they need a better Edward...

I voted no because Rob just doesn't fit how I picture Edward. Of course no HUMAN could, but I'm sure there are guys who are closer to his appearence than him. He actually might have looked more like Edward if the special effects and make-up crew gave him pale skin and longer, cuter hair. Ii drives me insane that none of the vampires look like vampires!

i voted yes, only because i can't fully say that he doesn't make a good edward.
when i was reading the books i wasn't exactly sure how to picture edward.
my image of him in my head kept changing in almost every chapter!
but when i found out about the movie and that he was going to play edward, i was like "OMFG!!!! THAT'S HIM! THAT"S EDWARD!"

so ya, i like rob. i think he was cast well as edward.

I am not quite sure what to think of robert pattinson, because i know he is a good actor, and i do not NOT like him, but he is not my exact picture of edward... In other words, he is human, and edward is not, and no human could be the perfect edward, but i do not think he is bad.

yeah I agree with Kat. He's a good actor, and I think he'll do a pretty good job playing Edward Cullen. But he doesn't match the Edward in my head. I still voted yes though. I can't wait to see how the movie turns out, though.

I voted yes even though he wasn't my first pick Edward. No one could even be close to how most of us are imagining edward, but Rob can sort of pull it off. and he's a great actor so i'm not worried[:
