Hello, all you wonderful people out there! If you are looking for a place to bash Jacob, then YOU'VE COME TO THE WRONG PLACE. To be fair, if you have come looking for a place to bash Jacob haters, YOU'VE COME TO THE WRONG PLACE too. This is SWITZERLAND, where, unlike "Jacob Haters Unite" or "Jacob Lovers Unite" we are actually going to discuss Jake, unlike talking about marrying him or murdering him.

Personally, I am a Jacob Lover, but I am willing to put that aside for this thread. I think that we can all agree that Jake has some flaws, but don't we all? So, this place is just for discussing, ok???

How do you think Jacob will end up in the series? Imprint? Yes, no? Let's hear it!

I think Jacob is too preoccupied with Bella to imprint on anyone. Imprinting requires seeing someone, but I don't think it means that you just glance at them. I think it requires you actually paying attention to that person....and unless Jake were to imprint on one of the pack, who he has to pay attention to, I don't think he will be thinking of anyone else but Bella.
I also think it would be WAY too much of an easy way out to have Jacob imprint, since it would effectively put him out of the way, and it diminishes all the Edward/Bella/Jacob tension.

I think that he will imprint on Tanya, from the Denali Clan, just to throw an ironic twist into the fourth book. Plus, let's face it- wouldn't it be awesome for a vamp and a wolf to get together?

But he's never met the Denali Clan or even gone out of forks and they would kinda hate jacob cause it was his pack that killed laurent. But that would be interesting if a wolf and a vamp got together especially since they smell funny to each other.

I don't understand it since the vampires and werewolves are enemies. If Stephenie were to ever write that, however, I'm sure she would come up with a way for it to work out.

Well, no one knows for sure if Jake is going or not. Stephenie didn't leave any clues in Eclipse. Hhe got the announcement, then kind of... took off... lol

i don't think jake would do that. he isn't mean enough to ruin bella's wedding with something as immature as that

maybe, but once he reallizes that bella is truly happy with edward, he will stop. i think he may have already come to this realization, though. in fact, i don't think that he will attend the wedding at all.

I wouldn't be able to watch the love of my life get married to someone else. In fact, I probably wouldn't even go to the wedding... But then I start thinking that would be rude. I believe that if you truly love someone, you can see them with another person and say, "I'm happy for you." There isn't anything against Jake in that statement, but I personally believe he should have some respect for Bella and Edward's relationship. Then I start thinking, "Oh, he is younger and not as mature, though... Maybe he hasn't yet grasped the concept...?" and then my thoughts about him are happy and love-filled again.
