Personally, Rachel Leigh Cook will always be Alice to me. I really wish that they had gotten her...

Rachel will always be my Alice too but i must confess that Ashlee is pretty awsome

After seeing Ashley as Alice in a ton of set pictures, I've come to like her more than Rachel. Rachel is very pretty and she does have that Alice look to her, though.

i actually like Ashley better too. but its true, Rachel would have been great

Alice is amazing and in my mind, no human will ever live up to her or any of the Cullens(no offense) but I think Ashley will be a very good Alice.

I think everyone who is casted in the movie will do fine (the only person I have doubts for is Taylor). They have all done their best to make the movie brilliant. The only thing we have to do while we wait for its release is learn to accept who they have chosen. We can't do anything about it now. :)

i dont expect them to do a great job of playing the most perfect family in the universe, but who would expect that? I wont be disapointed cause i have low hopes for this movie, but maybe ill be amazed [u]

i love Ashley i think she is perfect when i first saw her pic i was like ome that is so Alice i was jumping up and down i was so happy...i think she looks more like Alice than Rachel i like Rachel and all but i think Ashley will do better than her plus Rachel is kind of old now.

as long as they don't change every little thing or screw up the characters, i'll be fine. but ya, they're gonna have to cut some stuff out to make the movie not drag on for four hours.......

Same here. I'll be fine with a little change, I know they can't fit in every amazing detail...but it better still be the same, or I'm digging up my pitchfork and going after Summit Entertainment

I think Ashley is perfect for Alice! I thought Rachel would have been nice, but from the snippets I've seen of the set and all, I think Ashley will be amazing.

I think the casting is interesting.
I mean I've always wanted Rachel as Alice, just because...well to me she is so like Alice.

Yeah, Rachel will be Alice in my head...but Ashley will do great in the movie, from what I can tell.
