Heroes!

this is for general discussion of the heroes world: omg did you think what happened last night was going to happen?!?!i didn't...(i'm not going to say anything until i know the participants have seen the episode, i don't want to ruin it for anyone)

I guess last night was finally the "someone dies someone flies" episode they've been talking about...

I've been wanting to watch this show.
But I haven't yet.
Is it good?

hey what's this show about? my firend loves it but i don't get what she said about it, she's really bad at explaining stuff like that.

oh. its awesome. ok so here's an explanination. il try to get it all out shortly, but its confuzzling, so bear with me. ok, so ill start with the characters. first off there's my fave, Peter. he lives in New York in the shadow of his older brother (im hitting two birds with one stone! yay me), Nathan, who's running for mayor, or senator, or something. Nathan can fly, but no one knows yet. Back to Peter. He's a nurse, taking care of this girls (i cant remember her name) dad, who is dying. He has been having strange dreams that he can fly (not knowing that nathan can). anyway, to put it shortly, he tries to fly by jumping of a building, he hovers, falls, and Nathan flys up to save him. peter soon later realizes that he cant actualy fly, but can absorb the powers of those around him.

next character. my second fave is claire. she lives in texas and is just figuring out that she's invincible. she's adopted. her 'dad' always knew she was invincible, but wanted to protect her, so he let her figure it out herself. she's a big part in the story. but only needs a short explanation.

k. next. claire's dad is very mysterious. he has known all along about all of the 'heroes' and is trying to find them, so as to study them. HE DOES NOT HAVE PWRS. k. many questions come with him, so beware. its a very long story, and i refuse to ruin the show bi telling u. so ull have to watch the last 4 or 5 to get the answers to all of the questions this man generates.

next. mi third fave. nakumara. he is HILARIOUS. he can bend time and space, yaknow travel and stop time. that stuff. he lived in japan, but then moved on and came to america (be ware, it gets confuzzling at this point) because he had gone into tie to find that new york had exploded.

next. the painter can see into the future. he paints the futre. he used to have to get high on heroin to do it. but once claire's dad found him, he helped him control his powers so he didnt OD. his girlfriend, (peter's patient's daughter, that girl) fell in love with peter, so now the painter dude hates peter and is reluctant to work with him later on, and it leads to the girl's death. anyways, im getting ahead of myself.

next. jessica and nikki. (ok. this one is probably the most confuzzling. so pay CLOSE attention) nikki is good. jessica is bad. they are the same person. jessica takes over when nikki gets in trouble, or is about to get hurt. nikki doesnt know who jessica is until she realizes she's the only one who could have murdered this group of guys. jessica hadnt started coming out until her huband, this guy who can become invisble, left her for a while, cuz he was framed for a bunch of murders, dont by no other than jessica. jessica (not nikki) started totake complete control over the boy. she started to work for this one guy, and in the proces met, and slept, with nathan.(2birds,1stone) she also has a son, micah, who we are just realizes has the power to break open electronics and stuff. her husband comes back one day, only to find out who jessica is. thy have this fite, and he takes micah, with jessica (not nikki) following, and tries to kill the dad several times. she ends up almost braking micah's arm, and that's when nikki comes back, forcing them to go confess. later in the show, nikki was forced to leave, and then jessica takes complete control of the body...

next. then there's this guy, who lives in india. his dad had this program, that was fingding all of the 'heroes' his dad gets murdered by sylar.(ill do him last) so he (the indian guy. not the dad.[the dad was murdered. duh!] the son) has no powers, but is like the scientist. he goes an tries to find all of them. like claire's dad is doin, but he's trying to 'cure' them of thier powers, while claire's dad is trying to test them, to see what things they can do and stuff.

then theirs this police officer and he kan read minds from close to long distances. (ironic, huh)

and then,(this guy, even though he has a short explanation, is VERY VERY important in the story, as ull see when i tell u the plot line) theres this dude who is radioactive, which means he can heat up things to a degrees hotter than the sun. (he can cause NUCLEAR EXPLOSIONS. *wink. wink* peter. new york. can absorb powers. *wink.wink*)




k. last, but not- well, nevermind. he is least. is sylar. dum.dum. duuuuuuummmmb. k, sylar HAD the ability to see how things worked, like the inside of clocks and stuff. but then when he found out (by the indian guy's dad) that there were other ppl like him, with obviously cooler powers, he wanted them. so to put it simply. he's the villain. to put it not... simply, he is the villain who slices open brains to see how their power works and steals it. (he's sort of like peter, except peter doesnt have to brutally kill them to absorb their power)

k. now that u know the characters (the main ones at least) ill tell u the plot. im gonna put this very simply, and if u have any questions, please feel free to pm me. so pretty much everythings based upon stopping the explosion. sylar is in the middle trying to kill all of the heroes. all of them are starting to figure out that there's others out there like them, andmost of them know that there's going to be a nuclear explosion in new york. claire figures out who her parents are, and gets to meet her mom, who can start fires with her fingers. her father... is nathan. THE nathan petrelli. who can fly. which makes peter her uncle. cool! anyways, that's THE simplest i can put it. no. wait. here is an even more simpler way: heroes are trying to stop a nuclear explosion going off. its caused by peter. sylar is trying to kill the heroes. done. k. my fingers hurt. if ur still confused, either eatch the shows, or pm me and ill tell u more.

I just finished watching the marothon. I haven't been watching up untill now, so I needed to catch up.

Oh I LOVE heroes

I use to be so in love with this show.
But then I missed the last episode of season one. >.>
And then most of the second season.
So I got totally lost.

I've never seen it, but I want to.

SPOILERS FROM EPISODE FOUR




Future Peter took Present Peter to the future to show what's wrong and what's going to happen. Peter learns that people are hunting down Future Peter and to save the world, Peter must get Sylar's power, and then Claire comes and kills him. "Kills" him. You can't be sure if he is dead. Peter runs and seeks out help from Mohinder where you learn what he has become from his mistakes. However, Peter reads Mohinder's mind and finds that Sylar is in the Bennett house.

Claire, Daphne and the guy from Level 5 are teamed up now and they want to use Molly to find where Peter is. They learn where he is and run to find him. Meanwhile, Peter shows up at the door to find Sylar (now Gabriel) is a father and is fighting the evil inside him for his son. Peter needs to show him what will happen to the world and why he needs his power. Sylar paints the future, learns what happens, and then gives Peter his power. Supposedly, Peter needs his power to learn how to piece things together. The formula, perhaps?

They hear Gabriel's son screaming (his name is Noah. You can only wonder if it has to do with how Sylar is teamed up with Noah and what happens to him). Claire and that whole gang has showed up. They start fighting, the guy from Level Five shoves Gabriel and he goes flying across the room, hits a table, and then kills his son. Overtaken by grief, Gabriel blows up.

Claire takes Peter and says she will show him what however many deaths feels like and starts torturing him. However, Nathan shows up and tells her to stop. Oh, and earlier, Tracy and Nathan were making a message and they were sad. I don't think anyone knows what happens but you know they are married because he called Tracy the first wife. Which also must mean Nathan becomes the president.

Now, Peter feels the hunger in him to understand how things work so he tries to kill Nathan. However, he stops himself and goes back to the present to talk to Nathan.

Daphne runs back to Parkman but says she wasn't fast enough and falls. Her back is all burned - when she says she wasn't fast enough, she meant that she couldn't outrun Gabriel's bomb.

Ando and Hiro is kind of self-explanatory but would you like me to explain that, too? Well, they go to Angela and find that the secret to saving the world is Adam so they have to dig him back up. *sigh* That was an awesome scene.

Anyway, did I miss anything? Did I clear everything up? If not, what did I miss or what are you still confused about?

Oh... I might have been confused since it appears I missed the first half of the episode XD
